Dustin Frye

When he is not in the office or on a job site, you’ll often find him on the golf course, pursuing his passion for the game. Off the course, he’s equally enthusiastic about coaching his children’s sports teams or cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers!

Family is at the core of everything he does. He’s been happily married to his lovely wife, Amy, for 17 wonderful years, and together, they’re blessed with six beautiful children—two daughters and four sons.

Dustin also spends time serving as an Elder at his church and as the Vice President of the Mooresville Baseball/Softball league.  He also serves as the Secretary of the Morgan County Plan Commission.

Steve Orusa

Steve Orusa brings over 40 years of public safety leadership to his role as Director of Public Safety Projects at Build BW. As the former Fire Chief of Fishers, Indiana, Steve led the construction and renovation of five fire stations and helped modernize the city’s fire service infrastructure. His experience ensures every facility is designed for long-term safety, efficiency, and community impact.

A recognized leader in Indiana’s fire service community, Steve has served as President of the Hamilton County Fire Chiefs Association and is a current member of the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association Legislative Committee. At Build BW, he works closely with municipal and public safety leaders to deliver high-performance, mission-critical facilities.

When he’s not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and continuing to serve the community.

Brad Battin

Brad is a graduate of Ball State University. When he’s not developing the framework for the next opportunity, Brad enjoys traveling with his wife Ellie and two daughters or catching a round of golf with friends.

Troy Woodruff

He is always seeking new ways to improve the company to better help its clients. A graduate of Indiana State University, former Indiana State Representative, Former Chief of Staff and Chief of Operations for the Indiana Department of Transportation under Governors Daniels and Pence, Troy is also a former Marine who grew up in Odon, Indiana. He is married to Melissa and they have 2 sons, Austin and Evan.

Jay Trauring

Jay is Director of Preconstruction and is responsible for overseeing all preliminary project planning, budgeting, and bidding activities. Jay believes that being meticulous and organized in the early stages of a project is the foundation to a successful project and for mitigating risks to all parties.

He holds a degree from Purdue University’s Building Construction Management program and possesses more than 15 years of experience. Outside of his knack for numbers and building professional relationships, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife Paige and their two children, Nolan and Blakely. He is also a native of central Indiana and likes activities outdoors, playing golf, cheering for the Boilermakers, Colts, and Pacers, and working on things in the garage.

Bill Galvin

Bill brings an incredibly diverse construction portfolio that transcends 35 years. As Director of Construction, he is responsible for overseeing all field staff, construction activity, and the delivery of our finished products. He relies on the experiences of his past to guide him in his work. His service in the military earned him status as a decorated veteran, a time when he also acquired strong leadership skills. This experience has allowed Bill to actively manage projects ranging from $50,000 to $400 million. His portfolio includes projects in the multi-family, tenant improvement, healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and civil/infrastructure markets.

Bill is a decorated veteran. He was a combat engineer in the Navy. Currently, he is an avid collector of bourbon and enjoys getaways to deep sea fish off the Florida Keys when time allows. At home, you will find him working on various remodeling projects or playing with his three German Shepherds.

Jonathan Harkins

Jonathan joined BW Construction as Operations Manager, bringing nearly two decades of experience in client management and strategic operations. Before BW, he worked in the Strategic Accounts Program at Ricoh USA, managing the organization’s largest law firm clients in the northern Midwest. He started his career in sales at IKON Office Solutions and graduated summa cum laude from Shippensburg University with a degree in Psychology, specializing in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

At BW, Jonathan oversees scheduling, forecasting, operational processes, employee development, and cross-department coordination to ensure efficiency and growth.

Jonathan and his wife, Kaila, live in Mooresville, IN, where they homeschool their four children. He’s the Co-Founder of The Finding Place Ministries and volunteers at Hope Heals Camp.

Greg Lannan

Greg started with BW at the beginning of 2024. Before coming to BW he worked for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation as the Manager for Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. He has years of experience working with municipalities to help bring their visions to life and grow communities.

As the Director of Business Development and Marketing Greg is responsible for leading the planning and execution of different BW growth initiatives. He works closely with business leaders and city officials to develop projects and ensures consistent brand messaging throughout all marketing efforts.

He and his wife have been lifelong Fishers residences. He enjoys football, baseball and being at IMS in the month of May. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with family and friends and participating in local events.

Jake Bates

Jake earned his MBA, graduating cum laude from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Kenyon College. He is a graduate of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy, the United Way Leadership United program, and was honored with Beta Gamma Sigma recognition.

At BW Construction, Jake focuses on strategic development, financial analysis, and supporting project execution to drive long-term growth.

Jake and his wife, Katie, live in Indiana with their black lab, Bear, and are excited to welcome their first child in May. A former college quarterback, Jake enjoys motorsports, football, and staying active outdoors.

Andy Meeker

Andy Meeker brings over 27 years of construction industry experience to his role as Director of Construction Operations at BW Construction. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions including Vice President of Construction Operations at Flaherty & Collins, Senior Project Manager at CRG, Director of Construction at SC Bodner, and Project Executive at Milhaus.

Originally accepted to Indiana University as a Pre-Med and Computer Science major while still in high school, Andy ultimately chose to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and pursue a career in construction, a decision that led to decades of hands-on experience and operational leadership in the field.

Andy and his wife of 27 years have three married adult children, two grandchildren he adores, and a lively crew of dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and cheering on his favorite football and baseball teams.
