Build BW assisted the City of Seymour in replacing their outdated Fire Station No. 2 with a new, ADA-compliant 15,800-sf headquarters featuring modern amenities.

Recognizing the limitations of the Seymour Fire Department’s three outdated facilities, Build BW partnered with the City of Seymour to address their significant space requirements. This collaboration resulted in the successful replacement of Fire Station No. 2 with a brand-new, expansive 15,800-square-foot fire station and headquarters. This modern facility was thoughtfully designed with ADA compliance at the forefront, ensuring accessibility for all.

The newly constructed fire station incorporates essential features such as comfortable living quarters for on-duty personnel, a practical drive-thru apparatus bay for efficient equipment deployment, a mezzanine level to maximize usable space, and dedicated administrative areas. Throughout the project, BW Development and BW Construction remained committed to delivering a serviceable, functional, and durable structure for the City of Seymour, all while maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness. The project was successfully completed in 2024.
