Progress continues on the new Marion Fire Station No. 1 in downtown Marion, Indiana. The project will fill a critical gap in public safety coverage that was left with the previous station was torn down years ago.
Build BW is actively advancing construction on the new Marion Fire Station 1, a project that officially broke ground in the summer of 2025. This two-level facility is thoughtfully designed to support first responders with modern features, including an advanced apparatus bay, an exterior training and hose-drying tower, and health-focused circadian lighting in the living quarters. The station will also feature a dedicated history wall, honoring the legacy and heritage of the local fire department.
This project holds significance for the city, effectively filling a critical gap in public safety coverage that was left when a previous station was torn down years ago. With work steadily progressing toward an anticipated completion in the summer of 2026, the new Marion Fire Station 1 will restore vital emergency infrastructure and ensure long-term protection and peace of mind for the entire community.
