Marion Fire Station No. 1 in downtown Marion, Indiana, fills a critical gap in public safety coverage while providing the Marion Fire Department with a modern facility built to serve the community for years to come.

Build BW served as both Developer (BOT) and Construction Manager for the new Marion Fire Station No. 1 in downtown Marion, Indiana. The 14,800-square-foot, one-story facility was designed to support first responders with modern infrastructure and purpose-built spaces, including an advanced apparatus bay, exterior training and hose-drying tower, and health-focused circadian lighting in the living quarters. A dedicated history wall honors the legacy and heritage of the Marion Fire Department.

The new station restores critical public safety coverage in the community following the demolition of the previous station years ago. The completed facility provides updated emergency infrastructure and a modern environment for the Marion Fire Department to serve the community for years to come.
