Build BW successfully completed a design-build renovation of Custom Concrete’s 25,500-square-foot Westfield, Indiana office. This project navigated a strict budget and the complexities of adding an elevator to the two-story building. Executed during the COVID-19 pandemic, diligent management was crucial to maintain the budget in an unstable market, and Build BW delivered within the allocated resources.

A key challenge was ensuring Custom Concrete remained operational. Build BW implemented a phased construction approach, working around Custom Concrete’s busy season to avoid significant interruption and keep the project on schedule. A highlight is the expanded break area, now a multi-functional café space. This enhanced area serves as a place for relaxation and as flexible breakout and assembly space, adding value to the office environment.
